i am planning a trip to paris around the time of the french open (tennis). can i buy tickets when i get there - any idea how much they are during the opening rounds? stay say 4 day in paris and drive to other cities - is this a feasible plan?

We were told last week when we took the tour of the facility that the tickets are sold within a short window of time prior to the tournament to discourage scalpers from buying them all.
Your best bet is to buy them online by checking the website few weeks before the tournament starts.
Of course tickets are available from third party sellers around the facility if you are willing to pay the price.
