Roussillon B&B

We recently stayed 2 nights at this lovely B%26amp;B just outside of Roussillon. It%26#39;s a wonderful little place, well-situated to explore the Luberon region.

The B%26amp;B is owned and operated by husband and wife, Philippe and Brigitte. Philippe is a tremendous host: friendly, attentive, and ready with information on the surrounding villages and more remote areas of the Luberon and beyond.

The accommodations are in several immaculate cottages, with two rooms or suites per cottage. Each room has it%26#39;s own small patio, and all the cottages look onto the lovely swimming pool. The entire complex is relatively newly-built in a relaxed Provencal-style: stucco cottages with tiled roofs, airy and colorful interiors and furnishings. Breakfast is served in a covered, poolside %26quot;cabana%26quot;. You never know what wonderful surprise Philippe may offer you at breakfast! A fridge in the breakfast area also offers wine, beer, juices and water for guests: Just record your beverage purchases on the tablet provided and they will be added to your room charges.

The grounds surrounding the pool extend out into the pines, where one can relax in a lounge chair and listen to the restful drone of the cicadas (cigales). At the end of a busy day of touring, this is a very welcome retreat.

The beautiful villages of Roussillon and Goult are just a few minutes away by car, and there are good restaurants in each. With just a few more minutes of driving: more beautiful villages and restaurants!

This sweet little B%26amp;B is clearly a labor of love. Philippe and Brigitte can be proud of what they have built and the gracious hospitality they offer their guests.
