hi can someone please help me quick

we are off to france on monday, we arfe going to st malo and the aqurauim and hypermarket, my kids are so so excited about it,

we are only going for a day trip and someone has just told me that the shops in st malo are closed on mondays and the hypermarket,

could someone please tell me if this is true

I really doubt that the supermarkets will be closed. There is a Carrefour (CENTRE COMMERCIAL LA MADELEINE) and except on a few bank holidays they never close on a special day in the week except Sunday. There is also a Champion 104 avenue Pasteur.

Some shops might be closed in the morning (like in Dijon) but everything should be open in the afternoon. I found a list of all the shops in St Malo sitedesmarques.com/bretagne-ille-et-vilaine/…

There is also a food market every Monday.

The huge Carrefour supermarket in St. Malo was certainly open on Mondays in April this year.
