Hello - I am having difficulty deciding where to stay - have narrowed it down to a couple of hotels (The Mansart and the Place du Louvre) but our main concern is affordability of restaurants nearby....
Basically the Mansart looks to be near the more expensive hotels and in a smarter area - are we right in thinking the Place du Louvre (next to the Louvre) will make us better placed for cheaper eateries at night? Or is there no difference?

If you%26#39;re willing to walk a few minutes from your hotel, you can find reasonably priced meals just about anywhere (and I think you will find that quite often, you will stop to eat somewhere before you head back to your hotel, rather than going back to the hotel and then out again for dinner). Don%26#39;t stress about that in choosing your hotel - just keep an eye out for possible choices as you walk around the area going to and from.
