d-day battle tour

We are hoping to do a 1-day d-day battle tour. Their address is in St. Mere-Eglise. How do we get there from Paris by train?

We used Battle Bus Tours leaving from Bayeux and had a fabulous time. You can train from Paris to Bayeux, but the tour leaves around 8am so they suggest you stay in Bayeux the night before. All the tours in Bayeux leave from the square behind the Churchill Hotel, so that is a great place to stay.

Thanks for your response. We would prefer not to stay overnight in Bayeux but to travel from Paris in the morning. I hope we can find a good tour that starts a little later.

Would just second the recommendation to tour with Battle Bus. We did two days of touring with them---remarkably informative, knowledgeable and friendly guides, and you get a very intimate perspective of the men who fought in Normandy.
