I%26#39;ll be visiting France in November and I%26#39;m planning to purchase an Anytime Anywhere rail pass. With this pass, you can make train reservations and change them up to 1 hour before departure via your on-line account, so you must have internet access. Are there cyber-cafes or other locations in Paris, Nice, etc., that offer internet access? Do I need to take my own laptop or are there laptops available in some locations? Thanks for the info.

France has public internet service available throughout the country, Paris has numerous free hotspots. You may want to take a laptop to take advantage of the free internet.

Unless you will be traveling an enormous amount on the train, passes are seldom less expensive than purchasing tickets. Additionally, seats available to pass holders are often very limited and while you may have the capability of making last minute changes to your travel itinerary, you may find seat availability a significantly limiting factor.
