Does anyone know whether Louise Bourgeois%26#39; sculpture %26quot;Maman%26quot; (basically it%26#39;s a giant spider) is still located in the Jardins Tuileries? I know it was there in early 2008, but I%26#39;m having trouble determining whether it has been moved elsewhere since then.

Is there more than one? We were at the Guggenheim in Bilbao a few weeks ago, and the %26#39;Maman%26#39; sculpture was on the terrace there - I%26#39;d assumed it was permanent.

It is not in Tuileries anymore.

Is this like the one I saw outside Tate Modern in London Oct 2007?

There are a number of %26quot;Maman%26quot; sculptures around the world, made up of permanent installations (Bilbao, Tate Modern in London, Ottawa, Tokyo, a couple of others) and some %26quot;floating%26quot; installations which are moved from city to city (there was one in Havana and Paris). It%26#39;s a little unclear exactly how many floating installations there are, since there is no central source for definitive information.
