Aqualand or Marineland

Which is best we have two 16 year olds so the bigger the slide the better, we are staying in Gassin so Frejus is closer but dont mind driving, we have been to the one near St Max so many times we fancied a change.

Unfortunately one of my teenagers bad been to the frejus water park with the school and the other teenager has been to the waterpark by marineland with a different school class - both enjoyed the experience but i can%26#39;t compare the two

There is the option of getting a combed 2day ticket for the marine land park that was quite good if you wanted a 2 day experience and to see both places [access to the aqua park and marineland on both days]-if that helps at all

Thankyou think we will go to the one in Frejus

It all depends in their taste. My guess is that your 16 year-olds will enjoy Aqualand more as they get to have fun in the water rather than watch shows.

The Aqualand in Fréjus sports a number of good twisters and fast rides (like free fall or white hole). In fact many of the rides are only open to kids 9 and above.

The %26quot;surf beach%26quot; has a line-up of lounge chairs with parasols for a little relaxation. They fill up fast.

Come back and tell us how you like it.

Enjoy!

Went to Frejus and had a very good day plenty to keep the kids occupied

Which would be better with a very young child. We have a 1 year old that obviously she is too young to really enjoy but which would you recommend for parents to spend the day with a baby at?

|||

Hi saintba - are you wanting a comparison of the two waterparks [aqualand and aquasplash ] or marineland itself and the waterpark at frejus [aqualand] ?

|||

Hi selkieNice,

I%26#39;d love any information/advice you can provide on any of the waterparks. It%26#39;s been years and years and years since I%26#39;ve been to one. Personally I%26#39;m not that into them but my wife wanted to hit one of them. I%26#39;m more of a beach person but we will definitely spend one day at one so if you can give your advice which you think is the best one to go to I%26#39;d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Can you tell us when you are coming and where you are staying? With the possible traffic problems it helps us give the best advice.

Marineland, just outside Antibes, consists of Marineland, Aquasplash, La Ferme du Far West and Adventure Golf. I%26#39;ve never been to the fram bit but it might be of interest to your baby.

I think the one near St Max is best for young children it has large area dedicated for infants,

we found it to be better as it is more compact and everything is close together where as the one at Frejus is really spaced out hope this helps.

The Fréjus Aqualand is the largest of the three on the French Riviera (Fréjus, Sainte-Maxime and ST Cyr). It%26#39;s almost twice the size of Ste Maxime%26#39;s.

I did notice more kids in the teenage years in Frejus than in Ste Maxime. They are more fast rides for them there.

Even though entrance is free to kids 3 y.o. and under, Fréjus is a blast for kids over 5. Still fun for younger ones (they love the shallow pool with water-spouting elephants and even the wave pool), but designed more for the 5+.

Enjoy.
