breakfast near the westin hotel

we are staying at the westin with a 6 year old this august

where can we go nearby for breakfast?

we have heard that the food at the hotel is so pricey....

any suggestions?

You can go to any café -- or to McDonald%26#39;s just down the rue de Rivoli in the direction of the Louvre.

as long as there are some thing within easy walking distance??

can you order breakfast in these places, or just coffee and a croissant?

i think that my recent %26quot;healthful eating%26quot; habits will have to be ditched for this trip

Not every place will serve an %26quot;American breakfast%26quot; but most of them will. Don%26#39;t expect things like hash browns or sausages, though. Eggs and bacon are about as far as they go.

You can go on rue Saint Honore (walk in direction of Place de la Concorde), at marche saint Honore (there is for example a Pain Quotidien), at Angelina, at Laduree at many cafes avenue de l%26#39;Opera, Blvd des Italiens, near Louvre... not as close by as other ones mentionned but on your way to somewhere.
