Blvd Francois Grosso near to Rue De Congres?

Bonjour all,

Student son will be staying in BLVD. F. Grosso, and

we are visiting in October. We are staying in Rue De Congres, are we near to each other?

Also anything special on the first week of October we should know about? Any nice restaurants nearby to bring student son to eat in?

F Grosso is a very long street and a lot depends on where son is on it. At the sea front the two streets are about seven blocks apart - less than a half mile, but if he%26#39;s up by the expressway it could be a mile.Either way its a healthy walk.

First week October is nothing special - things are beginning to quieten down, tourists have gone home, little dogs will soon start wearing body warmers, the city is handed back to locals, especially midweek.

There are probably a thousand restaurants in Nice. I%26#39;m sure there is one your boy can recommend.

Son is staying in Lamy Residence if that gives a clearer picture of distance.....

Its about 20 mins to half an hour walk - pretty flat easy route.

Go to l%26#39;occitanie which is on bd Gambetta - pretty close to his residence

or voyageur nissart - rue alsace lorraine
