pretty town/village no more than 2 hours from Calais/Tunnel

I would be grateful for any help. We are looking to spend a week in France this month, however I know very little about regions/areas.

We have a 5 month old son so do not want to spend hours in the car getting there and want somewhere to stay that has shops/restaurants/walks in walking distance so we don%26#39;t have to be in the car every day.

Apologies this is very broad but any help would be appreciated.
