Restaurant "Le Goeland" in Le Crotoy (Close LeTouquet)

We went to Le Crotoy in May 2009. We were on the seaside (North Sea) and thought that we will have a delicious seafood meal. Actually it was so bad that we did not finish our meal!

The service was extremely slow and poor.

Don%26#39;t go there. The food (seafood) is not just very average: it%26#39;s poor. The sea shells (oyters) were dry, the old bulot were yellow (Freshness?), etc... We can get MUCH better sea shells in Paris (250 KM away) than in this kind of restaurant.

Le Crotoy is on the English Channel, NOT the North Sea. And its closer to Berck sur Mer and St. Valery sur Somme than Le Touquet.

Its a small village.

Hi dalaijack,

Shame the food was bad considering it is on the coast and should have fresh ingredients! Probably frozen ingredients bought from Aldi or one of the supermarkets !

Just wondered if you had come across a place with good food in the area as we are there in August?
