Are there shopping malls in or around La Rochelle(for discount fashion and perhaps large sports shops)?

Beaulieu (look for signs for Carrefour as you leave LaRochelle towards Niort).
Not anywhere near as good as UK malls but it has some discount fashion and a sports store. Also similar about 10km south Carrefour Angoulins
