Supermarket opening hours - La Rochelle

Hi,

We will be arriving in to La Rochelle airport on a Saturday evening at approximately 7pm en route to a village near Marennes.

Would anyone be able to advise whether we are likely to find a supoermarket at this hour and also where this would be located in relation to the airport?

the nearest large supermarket I%26#39;ve found to La Rochelle airport is an E LECLERC which you can see from the N237 and is found at the Lagord exit(although you come off at Lagord exit you need to go south as its on the opposite side of the highway), this is open until 8pm (as most supermarkets are) and is very close to the airport. Next best bet is a Carrefour 5 mins further away on the N11 in a Commercial area called Beaulieu, you would take the N237 from the airport and then head away from La Rochelle on the N11. I don%26#39;t know what time it closes exactly but I have been in there shopping until at least 8.30pm so I guess 9pm? If all else fails, on your drive to Marennes look out for supermarket signs that advertise being open on a Sunday morning, one or two will be.

I agree Leclerc at Lagord is closer but shuts at 8 so you will have to be quick. There is another option.

As you drive to Marennes you will pass Carrefour at Angoulins about 12 km south of La Rochelle on the road to Rochefort N137. It closes at 9 on saturdays. It also has a macdonlds...you can%26#39;t miss it.

On sundays Intermarche at Marennes is normally open till 11.30 or 12
