Not familiar with the area you are staying. But I have found this website to be very helpful: http://www.ratp.info/informer/anglais/ Think you can type in your address and then the stop that you need.

I do know that the nearest stop to Sacre Coeur is Anvers on Metro 2. According to the guidebook that I have sitting here by my computer, the stop for the Catacombs is Denfert-Rochereau. But we didn%26#39;t get around to visiting the catacombs. It was one of the places my friend wanted to see and we just ran out of time -- and we were there for seven days.

We have stayed at the Regents Garden many times. Good place, nice staff. We have been getting the Ternes metro stop to start our travels from. That always seemed the most useful for what we wanted to do each day. The hotel is maybe 4 blocks from Palais de Congress. I just looked at my metro map, if you get on at Ternes towards Nation, line 2, it goes to Anvers which is the start of the street that goes up to Sacre le Coeur, and you don%26#39;t have to change. The Catacombs is at Metro: Denfert-Rochereau, 1 pl Denfert-Rochereau. Looks like that is on line 6. So you could get the metro at Ternes towards Porte Dauphine, change at Ch. de Gaulle Etoile for line 6 towards Nation, or you could walk to Etoile, it really isn%26#39;t that far from the hotel. Hope this helps.

Thank you - that does help! Although that website is great I was a bit confused by the changes we have to make. We usually walk everywhee but the catacombs are around 1hr 1/2 away which is a bit too much.

Flying at 6 this evening! Better get my packing started!!

Thanks
