Chambord to Beauvais

Help,My family and I are visiting the Loire valley next week, we are staying in two camp sites, each for 3 nights. The first one is Parc de Fierbois near Tours, and the other one is Chateau des Marais in Chambord. We will be travelling from this site to Beauvais and spending an night someplace along the way. Where would be a good place to stop off besides Paris,? that would provide us with a worthwhile end to our trip.

Grab a map and have a look - if you avoid the motorway you will be going through Chartres. Even then its a less than 5 hour drive. http://tinyurl.com/m6kzbo

Is the hassle of stopping and putting up tents/unhitching caravan worth the hassle half way through a morning%26#39;s drive? set off at 10.00, stop for a 2 hour lunch at a Routier, then drive to where you%26#39;re going would be my methid of operating - although it has to be said that I did a very similar trip along the same roads non-stop on Wednesday, having lunch when I got home.

What time is your flight from Beauvais? Are you looking for another campsite or an hotel?

We stayed in Chateau des Marais last week. The day we were leaving, we drove from the campsite (Wiz, we were staying in a mobile home and I%26#39;m assuming the OP is too so there%26#39;s no unhitching or dismantling of tents) to Chateau Vaux le Vicomte for the afternoon, then drove through Paris (yes the full Monty, down the quays, past the Eiffel Tower, across the river, down to Place de la Concorde and down the Champs Elysee. Specifically what we were told not to, haha!!) and then drove out past Beauvais.
