Eden Roc restaurant - is a reservation recommended for lunch

Would anyone have advice on whether or not a reservation would be recommended/required for lunch at the Eden Roc Grill at Cap d%26#39;Antibes?

Any thoughts on whether there might be a better choice of lunch restaurant on Cap D%26#39;Antibes for spectacular view and memorable experience?

Thank you.

Thank you, mconn for your comments. So you think my wife and I won%26#39;t be disappointed?

you will both love it!especially you!there are many beautiful sights that have nothing to do with the sea and occasional yacht!

also, make sure you tour the hotel and grounds.they have a pet cemetary.you should park at the hotel and walk the 100 yards to the resto.this is a must.maybe even have one of the hotel special cocktails in the hotel bar/lounge before or after your repast.

You might also consider the Michelin starred Restarant Bacon at Point Bacon between La Garoupe Beach and Antibes. And at least two restaurants at the Garoupe beach - the Garoupe Beach and Kellers. Good views at all although the latter two without quite the cachet of the Eden Roc (or the prices).

Otherwise not a lot on the Cap itself.

Thanks - I was considering Keller as well. Anyone know is Eden Roc Grill is open week of September 15. According to their web site the are open until mid September. Sounds like the Grill might be closed for the season on Sept 16-17? I suppose I could give them a call.
