What's good to do in two & a half hour stopover in Paris?

We are changing trains from Paris Nord to Paris Gare de Lyon. Has anyone got some good ideas what one could do close to the Gare de Lyon in the two %26amp; a half hour stopover time? I can read my book on the train! Any creative suggestions I%26#39;d be very grateful.

Thanks.

If you%26#39;re arriving in the daytime, you might want to take the RER-B, RER-D, or métro line-4 from Gare du Nord to Chatelet, surface and walk to the river. %26quot;Paris Plage%26quot; is in full swing and it%26#39;s route east will take you in the direction of Gare de Lyon. When you get to the river, look for stairs down to the riverbank.

Paris Plage is a yearly event where 3km of a freeway along the Seine is transformed into a beach scene with dozens of things to do, see, eat and drink along the route. It%26#39;s route also affords some of the most beautiful views in Paris.

The east end of the route takes you to Sully-Morland where you can catch the 87 bus to Gare de Lyon or walk (20 mins max).

That sounds good, %26amp; a bit of fresh air. Thanks.
