Hotel Cecilia ?

Arriving in Paris 9/19 to 9/22...locted this hotel on TA..has anyone stayed here or have knowledge of the hotel... I%26#39;m looking for something central easy to tour the city I%26#39;m arriving via rail from london.. and I speak no French...other suggestions welcomed...they have a 3 night pkg for 111 E ... Thank you in advance for assistance

I can%26#39;t tell you how surprised I am to see this post. If this is the Hotel Cecilia on Ave. MacMahon, then I stayed in it in 1961 as a college student.

I%26#39;ve always wondered why nobody ever mentions it on any of these forums, and several months ago I googled it and see that it still exists and seems to be doing well. Seems to me there were reviews on the site, and they mostly were from people from the UK. (Or maybe I read them on TA?)

My guess is that so many people now want to stay in the 4,5,6,or 7th arrondissements.

So, obviously I have no up to date info about it (an understatement if ever I wrote one!) but the location is great for the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysees and everything else around there. Close to metro station for getting farther away.

My guess is that it will be a great place for you, and the price certainly seems right. Have fun, and don%26#39;t forget to post on here when you return.
