Our family are travelling to Plouguerneau for two weeks in mid August. I understand we will be about half an hour drive from Brest and justslightly further from Roscoff. I would appreciate any advice on places to go or see in the northwest of Brittany, Places to eat, kids entertainment ideas, We are also considering travelling up to Bayeax or Caen for a couple of days.
The Aquarium in Brest seems to be popular and probably worth a visit. We will also look to visit Brest. We are staying on the coast so we will have access to beach, but are the waters safe for swimming?
