does anyone know if their apartment 3 bourg labbe is ok?

I have no idea about the apartment itself, but I would urge you to read all of the rental policies of usaparis as they are pretty strict, with many possibilities of further charges, although they say no hidden charges, because they are all set out in the policy. This includes a 50 euro admin fee, then fees for cleaning, then fees to have them meet you with the key, then fees if you lose the key, not to mention a minimum 350 euro security deposit, and payment in full up front. I would personally look somewhere else. You should also do a search here on the forum for %26quot;usaparis%26quot; and you will see a few rather bizarre threads that include many, many deleted posts by a rather strange person who kept signing on under a different name, and vehemently defending usaparis. It was all rather weird, and many of us wondered if this person was an employee with usaparis.
Have a look at vacationinparis.com. They are based in New Jersey and come very well recommended here on TA (I have not used them before, but would feel comfortable in doing so based on people%26#39;s opinions here).

I had read the thread here on the TA forum that ppmcTO referred to after booking with USAParis. I have yet to make the trip so i cannot give a complete accounting yet. But i too found that thread a bit odd. Consequently, i was able to contact a USAParis client in the NYC area and had a nice conversation with them regarding the company. That customer said they had no complaints and would use them again. (I believe that customer posted here about their experience w/ the firm.) I also exchanged emails with 2 other clients of theirs who had rented their Apts. Additionaly i have exchanged emails with a soon-to-be USAParis client who is a frequent poster here.
They do have a fairly lengthy rental agreement. But thats not too surprising. Looking at the invoice, there is an admin fee and a cleaning fee. Both of which are typical for the rental industry. There is a lost key fee and a secdep fee. Again, typical for the industry. Whether the amts are typical i cannot say, but these charges themselves are typical.
I%26#39;ve had many conversations w/ them, including a conversation regarding the TA thread referred to. Very upfront and informative. I had spent a lot of time looking at apts and i felt their prices were very good.
Again, i have not made the trip yet. I will post my experience in detail a bit down the road.

thank you for your response and we will be looking forward to your experiences.

If it is like their others, I would stay far far away!! Very dishonest representation and very unclean.

You might also want to look directly to owners at:

Also, for agents we recommend
http://www.haveninparis.com
http://www.athomeinfrance.com
http://www.villeetvillage.com
There are lengthy discussions and tradeoffs of agents vs owners that you can in this forum. This gives you a few other places to look.
