Dear Friends,
We (me, my wife, kids- 6 and 11 years old) are travelling to Paris in August. I am trying to find hotel, but most of the hotels do not allow more than 2 or 3 people.
Can you recommend hotels for family?
Also, what%26#39;s the best way to travel from Paris to Geneva?
Thanks much,
Deepak

Try one of the Novotels in Paris - they have rooms with double bed + 2 single %26#39;fold out beds%26#39;.
Also more basic Hotel Montpensier

Others can advise on apartments....

Also try Citadines. They are a hotel with apartment-like features.

If you have 3 or more nights, you can have a look here:

The Citadines properties are good too, as HG said. They might be a tad more expensive than the centreparis apts., but they would offer you more services, such as front desk service.

Last year I booked some friends of mine (a family of 4 with 2 teenage girls)into the Hotel Palais Du Bourbon, They were extremely happy with the quad room. They also have a family suite available, a double room with an adjoining small twin.

Also, you might find that an apartment is better approach if you don%26#39;t need a concierge ... Worth considering. You can rent direct from owners at:
http://www.vrbo.com
http://www.flipkey.com
or via agencies ... there are lots. I%26#39;m been familiar with:
http://www.villeetvillage.com
http://www.athomeinfrance.com
http://www.haveninparis.com
With an apartment, you%26#39;ll have more room and could even opt for a two bedroom.

My family of 4 stayed in the family room at the Hotel Familia a few months ago. We were quite happy with the room and the location:

Look for my trip report for more details.
