I am going to be driving from Carcassone to Perpignan on Saturday and im wondering which route would be best/most scenic ? Either through Foix and south to the Andorra border and east to Prades, or from Limoux more directly southeast to Perpignan ?? Any advice would be great ......

If you go via Andorra it will be a very long drive through the mountains.
If you go via Limoux and Quillan, you%26#39;ll see some Cathar castles (LaPradelle-Puilaurens, Queribus and Peyrepertuse) and lots of vinyards.
Both routes are scenic and very different.
