Train to St Tropez?

We are traveling westward from Italy towards Barcelona on trains. We%26#39;d like to stop by for 2 days in St-Tropez.

Any advice?

There is no train station in st tropez itself

You need to take the train to St Raphael and then get a bus or boat . Boat would be the best option

Thanks...seems like a big pain for only 2 days of enjoyment.

1. the boat site is only in french.

2. I read that even after you get off the boat, you need to take a bus to get your hotel? true?

are there alternative cities that offer what st tropez has? I heard that it%26#39;s a lot of fun there if you like to let loose

St Tropez probably developed because it was difficult to get to by public transport compared with other places on the coast. If yo want to go there without a car you have to put in a bit of effort.

I%26#39;;d guess Juan les pins was the most similar to st tropez

There is also lots of nightlife in Nice and cannes
