Walk from Juan-les-Pins SNCF station to Cap d'Antibes Plage?

Could someone please advise? I am considering walking from the SNCF rail station at Juan-les-Pins to Plage de la Garoupe at Cap d%26#39;Antibes 3 kilometres away.

Does anyone know if this is feasible? In other words would this be a pleasant walk?

I was looking at Google maps - not certain but it appears that in some spots it might be a pretty narrow road with no sidewalk of any kind.

I imagine that, alternately, coming from Nice - I could get off at Antibes SNCF and take the bus down to the Garoupe beach at Cap d%26#39;Antibes

Would prefer a walk, but not if it%26#39;s 3 kilometres of cars whizzing by.

Thanks to all.

This is indeed a very pleasant , indeed fabulous walk. If you follow the coastal motor road ( Boulevard Marechal / Boulevard John F Kennedy / Boulevard de la Garoupe) there are some parts when there is a limited sidewalk or it is on one side of the road only - just keep vigilant - actually the traffic on this road is not too heavy. Cyclists are possibly a greater hazard than motorists. You will pass by several very pretty beaches on the west of the Cap such as the Plage des Ondes and the little Port de l%26#39;Olivette before getting to the Garoupe ( on the east side of the Cap). You may also take a deviation onto the Smuggler%26#39;s Path ( pedestrians only, no traffic ) that follows the cliff and will bring you to the Garoupe beach.

You can complete the jourmey by walking into Antibes with fantastic views of the Old Town and Alps ( when atmospheric conditions are suitable). Take the No.2 bus if tired.
