Help!! Driving or Take Train???

Hi

We are a family of 4 x mid 50%26#39;s / early 60%26#39;s and 3 x Mid 20%26#39;s.

We wish to explore Nice, Eze, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes in 7 days. We like to ask, weather we should rent a car or take train??

In addition, should we base in Nice and travel each day to each of the city???

when are you travelling?

You would need a people carrier or 2 cars - I would be surprised if it was cost effective -but i suppose there are maybe deals available if you book with the right company.

Make sure you factor in parking costs -parking isn%26#39;t cheap and the hotels which offer parking often charge for the privilege on top of the room rate.

Public transport is very cheap

It is very easy to do Eze village and monaco by bus and

Antibes and cannes by train

Base yourselves in Nice- its the best base for the coast and exploring inland by bus/train

we were in antibes for the middle two weeks in july and hired a car------mistake, as the traffic is far too jammed

our son stayed in beaulieu sur mer and visited most of the places you mention by train and it was a breeze

public transport is the answer as you can then enjoy the rose de provence
