Family holiday with toddlers in corsica

Hello

We want to go to corsica in september. Ideally I am thinking of a small fishing village where we can walk to restaurants etc from our accomodation. Can anyone help me?

You could look at Algajola. It%26#39;s easily accessible from Calvi, Ajaccio and Bastia, and has a shallow sandy beach and several hotels.

Or I thought Macinaggio, on Cap Corse, looked pleasant and there were lots of hotels in the area. It%26#39;s not far from Bastia.

I%26#39;m a great advocate for Algajola, but I think it would be pushing it a bit to describe it as having a shallow sandy beach. It gets deep quite quickly and as such isn%26#39;t ideal for toddlers - Calvi is much more suitable. But it fits the bill in other respects.

In September it is the best instant for Corsica.

Water is hot, the temperature is soft and parties are cool. To cross good vacation, rent a car and a villa. You will so be able to visit of numerous sites: Forêt de Bonifato, vallée du fango, Girolata. Ideal remains the beach nearby. A Villas address TDomaine Villas Mandarine . It is a residence of villas with swimming pool in 900 m of the beach and 1.4 km of the harbour.....Françoise and Christian are waiting for you..Nice people.

We had a fabulous two weeks in Aljagola in July with 2 toddlers (4 and 2). The beach there can get a bit rough when the wind is up - but we found a magical little cove between Algajola and Ille Rousse which is accessible by car and train (bit of a walk to get to the beach - but well worth it).

We stayed in a chalet at the Camping de la Plage (see earlier post) which was more than adequate. All depends on your budget.

The Corsicans were great with the kids - they were very welcome where ever we went despite an inability to keep their Orangina in their glass for more than 30 seconds!

Have fun!
