Cost TAXI from CDG airport to Opera and 8th Arrondissement

Hi All,

I had a quick look online and I have trouble finding some reliable info on what a taxi would cost from CDG airport to Paris %26quot;Opera%26quot; and to Paris %26quot;8th Arrondissement%26quot;. I am wondering if it is worth struggling with the Roissybus, or RER, and an eventual extra taxi when travelling as a couple?

And realistically, how much time would it take to get to the city centre in a taxi on a Friday evening (around 6:30pm)?

Take the Roissy Bus. Inexpensive, not a struggle, and one stop at the Opera.

On a Friday evening a taxi will cost around 50-60 Euros. On a Sunday morning it can be 35-45. Roissy bus is easy and brings you to Opera Garnier and cost 9.10 Euros as of July.

Depending on your final address you can walk from there to your hotel. That%26#39;s what I do except when I have too much luggage. I am about 10 min walk from Roissy bus. With one suitcase and a small back pack it is doable.

You can grab a taxi in front of Grand hotel (entrance on rue Scribe) if you decide to take taxi after Roissy bus.
