Arriving by train around 10:00 am and departing around 1:00.

Does anyone know if the Strasbourg station has luggage lockers, luggage dropoff?

In this short amount of time, how far is the Petite france and the cathedrale from the train station ?

The cathedral etc is only about 10 minutes by tram from the station and Petite France not much more. Very possible to make a flying visit, although they deserve more time.

The train station is about a 15 minute walk from the Petite France region, and about 20 minutes walk from the Cathedrale. Strasbourg is spectacular, so if you%26#39;re able to walk around for even an hour or two, I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll enjoy your time there!

A couple of hours in Strasbourg will make you want to come back for a real visit.

I%26#39;m far from an expert on VAT and maybe someone who has done it will read this too, but I think you claim it at Basel.

You don%26#39;t actually cross the border until Basel and the customs control is there so I think they can accept your form. You may have to look around for a French official as the check points are sometimes not manned.
