airport transfer from CDG to Marriott Champs-Elysees

We will be staying at the Paris Marriott Champs-Elysées 74, Avenue des Champs-Elysées, 75008. I recall a fast train from the airport that was very convenient. What is the name of that train and where does it leave you? I expect that I will have a heavy bag and will need to take a tai once we get from CDG to the train station but I do not know what train station the transfer takes us to. Thanks in advance. M

You are probably referring to the RER. You can take the RER from CDG Terminal 2 to Chatelet for example and change to the Métro (M1 direction La Défence) which should have an exit close to your hotel precluding the need for a taxi.

Fare 8.50€

If you have a heavy bag and one that is also big, you might have a challenge getting down to the RER train platform in CDG. Make sure to look for elevators (I can%26#39;t recall if there are any). Also, when you exit at Chatelet-Les Halles, you might have to lug the bag up a couple flights of stairs. Again, I%26#39;m not sure how big or how heavy but keep that in mind. If you can mention the size and rough weight, perhaps others can recall if it might be to hard to do.

Another idea could be to take the Roissybus from the airport to Opera and then take a taxi from there.

You might also take the Air France bus which goes directly to the Arc de Triomphe. It%26#39;s a short walk from there, and all downhill. It might be easier than dragging your luggage up and down the steps in the RER stations.

There is at least one exit at Chatelet that has escalators to street level, but I don%26#39;t know exactly which one it is. Also, it can be a long walk from the terminal to the RER station. If the OP is really bringing a heavy bag, I think I would either arrange transport or take a cab. Moral of the story: no heavy bags!

THanks so much. How do I arrange for that bus? That sounds like the best option for us. I am sure our bags will be heavy.
