Travel Channel, this weekend, had a special about vacation nightmares that people all over the world are experiencing.........
The 2 mistakes all travelers had in common -
1) Accepting ride from a stranger who walks up to you offering a %26quot;cheap fare%26quot; to your hotel
2) Letting someone earn your trust and confidence, whatever their situation seems to be ----
ALWAYS stand at a Taxi stand and wait for a marked taxi to pick you up ----- and do not ever let a complete stranger gain your confidence
A friend had already warned me about this a year ago, and I know this has been discussed on Trip Advisor before, but it%26#39;s worth repeating, especially for solo travelers
