VRBO isn%26#39;t an agency per se. It%26#39;s a clearing house owners use. You rent directly from the owner, so every apartment listed on VBRO could offer a different experience with the owner.

Though there are some agencies who also list through VRBO so you can at times be redirected to agencies too. There are a bunch of threads that debate the advantages and disadvantages of directly renting from the owner.

I just had a chance to glance further at the listing. It would be good to know the precise address as some of the streets around Notre Dame can be a little noisy with tourists while others are quite quiet.

Using maps.google.com, it looks like it is right on the quai at 17 quai Saint Michel ...

That road is very busy so make sure the apartment perhaps is setback in the courtyard and/or you have double windows to block the noise.

Some people have pointed out that the boats going up/down the Seine can be a little bit annoying but it depends how sensitive you are to it.

I%26#39;d ask how many square meters is the apartment as all it says is %26quot;small%26quot;. The price seems like a good deal for a one bedroom and I%26#39;m usually a little more curious for details when a deal seems too good.

I%26#39;d ask the owner for a previous client and get the inside story on it if you have any doubts.
