I am arriving with heavy large suitcase on Eurostar at Gare Du Nord and need to get to the Pullman Paris Bercy hotel as my coach tour of France departs next day from this hotel. How do I navigate the subway, is there a direct line or do I need to catch a cab and how much would that be? thank you for your advice.

Depending on your energy level and age, carting a heavy large suitcase through the metro system could be a real difficulty. In fact, some of the metro gates might not let you pass it through (depending on the suitcase%26#39;s size) and you%26#39;ll have to find an agent to open the special gates for bulky items.
I%26#39;d go for a taxi but if you want to venture it with the metro, visit http://www.ratp.fr
Their recommended route (RER E to M14) then I would do (M4 to M14) but most important is to get this forum%26#39;s insight on a route that is best for large, heavy suitcases. I typically don%26#39;t go through the metros with more than one small roller bag.

thanks, looks like I will be catching a cab. Any idea how much that would cost to Bercy, I don%26#39;t want to be ripped off by the driver taking the long way on purpose.
