When you pick up the TGV ticket reserved online, do you need to show the actual credit card or just give the credit card details?

From everything I have read I think that you need to show the credit card....though I am not an expert.

To pick up tickets at a SNCF service window or boutique, you will need:
1. the reservation number
2. to present the same credit card used in the on line transaction. The agent will compare the credit card account numbers used in the on line transaction with those of the card you present. If you lose the card, you will not be able to pickup your tickets.

When I picked mine up last week at a boutique, the card was swiped. When I asked why the answer was just to verify my identity

OK. Thanks everyone. I%26#39;ve told my daughter this. She doesn%26#39;t have a credit card and asked to use our card details. However, as she%26#39;s overseas at the moment, she wouldn%26#39;t be able to show the card on pickup.
