Saw this article today in the Economist for the National Museum of the Renaissance at the Chateau d’Ecouen - apparrently an under-appreciated Museum in Paris - Sounds interesting, anyone been there? Comments?

The Paris Museum pass covers it, though... I think I%26#39;ll add it to a future trip, have read a small bit about it in the past. Haven%26#39;t made it out to Chantilly yet either.

Thanks Nutty!
I thought I was being ignored, I found this post that was %26quot;off the beaten track%26quot; and added it to my list. I%26#39;d be curious to see what the locals think.........
I know many of us get blasted for %26quot;checking the list%26quot; but I thought this was a somewhat different suggestion.
I might actually check this out next trip - it%26#39;s time to venture out of the central arrondisements anyway...........
Although I really do need to spend more time in the Latin Qtr/Marais............
As like so many else of us, %26quot;next trip%26quot;............

Well, we%26#39;re going into Burgundy for about 5 days, so only 5 days for Paris - so we don%26#39;t want to leave Paris after spending 1/2 our time in another area anyway. Two trips ago we went to Chateau Malmaison, which was very nice and smallish, lovely setting - even the walk from the bus stop was good.
