Travels to Eurpoe - from Vancouver, Canada

i am planning a trip to Europe in May 2010. i will be coming from Vancouver, Canada. I have heard that flights are less expensive if you fly into London, Englad and take the train into France? We plan on taking 4 weeks to explore 3 - 4 different cournties within Europe, France is 100% and Italy is 100% but we are debating between Spain and Greece, or both. Any suggestions to save us money as well as the easiest ways to get around and the order in which to visit the countries!

Thank you!

Lots of questions!

Use a tool such as kayak or vayama to price tickets different ways. It probably is cheaper to fly to London, but add on the cost of the subway to the train station and the train tickets, plus an extra meal or two and doing a lot of extra travel that first long day. It would have to save me a lot of money to make it worthwhile.

Lucky you such a long trip. I%26#39;ve not been to either Greece or Spain, but Greece is definitely on my list of %26quot;I really want to go there now that I%26#39;ve been to Paris.%26quot; That%26#39;s just my preference though. However, if you go to southern France, you could also go to Barcelona.

I would be tempted to start in the south, as it will probably tend to be getting progressively warmer during the month of May.

Be sure to explore small towns in all countries and not just go from large city to large city. Enjoy!
